Everyday mindfulness & breathing strategies for managing the discomfort of IBS.
After the loss of my first child at a very young age, my poor stomach did not know what to do. Every emotion we could imagine was trapped in there, and I had pain, discomfort, gas, bloating, constipation, loose bowels, and digestive problems for years. I also had every treatment under the sun.
When I applied mindfulness to the emotions, pain, digestive issues, and even the act of eating, over time, I saw incredible improvements. This workshop will explore our relationship to our stomachs and our IBS, how to apply compassion as a form of healing, breathing strategies for comforting a troubled tummy, mindful supports for healing, and the role of bringing back passion and enjoyment to the act of eating.
